My primary focus of this series is to unveil the genuine essence of my subjects, to celebrate the raw, unfiltered beauty that makes them unique, going beyond the superficial and delving into the intricacies of human the human form.
I aim to create a meaningful connection with my subjects, that is a bridge of trust and understanding. I want them to feel comfortable, to let their true selves shine through, and to reveal their inherent beauty in its purest form.
Candid moments are the hidden gems of this process. As I guide my subjects through the shoot, I also watch for those unguarded glimpses of genuine emotion, those unscripted laughs, contemplative moments, and subtle expressions that emerge when they forget about the camera. These moments are the heartbeats of authenticity in the series.
In terms of attire and makeup, less is truly more. I encourage my subjects to embrace their natural selves, to wear simple, comfortable clothing, and to keep makeup minimal. My goal is not to hide imperfections but to highlight their unique features, to capture the essence of who they truly are.
